You just can't consider yourself a competitive game unless you level the playing and get the mod system under control. I know that many of these addons give only margin if minimal advantages to the user but there are many many of these advantages that add up to a larger advantage. You simply cannot be taken seriously as a esport or even just a competitive game if you allow things like aim assist.īut, Honestly there are many mods that really shouldn't be used unless everyone had them. Mod system needs to be for cosmetic, sounds graphics and skins, only. Blocking a specific script is all well and good but all you have to do is move some things in the file a little rename the file and many vars in it and it will be like a new mod that isnt being blocked. Simply hashing or blocking isn't going to do it. The current MOD api is a security nightmare. Its the entire MOD system as a whole that is the problem.
